LOSS MITIGATION
LOCAL REALTOR® COMPLETES PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE COURSE
Malden, MA--John P. King of Danca Realty, Inc. has successfully completed the Loss Mitigation Certification Course (LMC) of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® held recently in Boston, MA.
Due to the challenges facing many Realtors® today in representing a buyer or seller who is working in a transaction involving foreclosure, short sales, properties at auction or bank owned; this comprehensive one-day course was developed to educate Realtors® on all the issues surrounding properties facing these complicated transactions.
The course is taught by national and local experts in loss mitigation and is designed to equip attendees with the tools needed to deal with short sales on both the buying and listing side; the process, ethics, laws, contracts and credit issues involved; and how to best approach lenders. Lastly, this course also addresses the human element of these transactions as consumers potentially face losing their homes.
Upon completion of the Loss Mitigation Certification Course, participants earn lifetime usage of the LMC logo and continuing education credits necessary for real estate license renewal.

The Federal Government has enacted a new and expanded Homebuyer Tax Credit program. It's not just for first time buyers but also available for current owners and those that have owned before. The first time buyer creidit is still $8,000.00 but there is a $6,500.00 credit for those that fit the other categories. Send us an e-mail or call for full details. This program requires that you sign a Purchase and Sales Agreement on your new home no later then April 30, 2010. Start looking while rates are low and inventory is adeqaute. |

St. Patrick's Day Road Race
To be held on Sunday March 14 starting at 11 AM
The Malden Rotary Club will, for the seventh year sponsor this road race with both 10K and 5K courses. This year both have been certified by the USA Track & Field. Runners can register online at runreg.com or contact Virginia Bowen at 781-842-1950 for a Registration Form. On race Day you can reister starting at 10 AM with the race to start at 11 AM. The first 300 to register for the race will receive race day T shirts.
The Dockside Restaurant will host a post race awards ceremony, which will be held immediately after the race. All net proceeds from the race will go to support the Malden Rotary club's and its' mission of "Service Above Self".
